This first of three planned volumes devoted to Etruscan and Umbrian issue provides a census of coins in the coined series and represents the achievement of more than twenty year's of passionate research that the author has carried out. The materials represented cover the most important Italian and foreign public collections, as well as a great number of private collections, along with thousands of sales catalogs. The author proposes a thorough revision of the dating of Etruscan issue, an element that has long given rise to intense debate, starting with the reinterpretation of certain known coin finds in the light of recent acquisitions.
